Jak si vypo\u010d\u00edtat BMI a jak interpretovat v\u00fdsledek v z\u00e1vislosti mimo jin\u00e9 na: pohlav\u00ed, v\u011bku, \u00farovni tr\u00e9novanosti nebo na tom, jak jste stav\u011bni? Odpov\u011b\u010f naleznete n\u00ed\u017ee.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span>Co je to index BMI?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span><strong>BMI (Body Mass Index) neboli index t\u011blesn\u00e9 hmotnosti nebo Quetelet II <\/strong>je pom\u011br, v n\u011bm\u017e se t\u011blesn\u00e1 hmotnost (v kilogramech) d\u011bl\u00ed v\u00fd\u0161kou (v metrech) na druhou.  Umo\u017e\u0148uje zjistit, zda je hmotnost \u010dlov\u011bka p\u0159im\u011b\u0159en\u00e1 jeho v\u00fd\u0161ce, a t\u00edm indikuje riziko onemocn\u011bn\u00ed vypl\u00fdvaj\u00edc\u00edch z podv\u00e1hy nebo nadv\u00e1hy a obezity, nap\u0159. cukrovky 2. typu, arteri\u00e1ln\u00ed hypertenze, ateroskler\u00f3zy, ischemick\u00e9 srde\u010dn\u00ed choroby atd. \u010c\u00edm vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed je hodnota BMI (nad 25), t\u00edm v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed je mo\u017enost onemocn\u011bn\u00ed. Tak\u00e9 n\u00edzk\u00fd v\u00fdsledek ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e 18,5 m\u016f\u017ee ukazovat na poruchu stravovac\u00edch n\u00e1vyk\u016f (nap\u0159. anorexii) nebo probl\u00e9my souvisej\u00edc\u00ed s kardiovaskul\u00e1rn\u00edmi poruchami, malabsorpc\u00ed, endokrinn\u00edmi probl\u00e9my nebo rakovinou. Index t\u011blesn\u00e9 hmotnosti se nevztahuje na sportovce (v\u00edce d\u00e1le v tomto \u010dl\u00e1nku), d\u011bti a t\u011bhotn\u00e9 \u017eeny.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>Tv\u016frcem BMI je belgick\u00fd matematik a astrolog Lambert Adolphe Jacques Qu\u00e9telet, kter\u00fd v roce 1832 vytvo\u0159il zn\u00e1m\u00fd vzorec.  Odtud poch\u00e1z\u00ed Quetelet\u016fv index II. N\u00e1zev Body Mass Index vytvo\u0159il americk\u00fd odborn\u00edk na v\u00fd\u017eivu Ancel Keys (mimo jin\u00e9: tv\u016frce st\u0159edomo\u0159sk\u00e9 diety) a poprv\u00e9 se objevil v \u010dasopise Journal of Clinical Epidemiology v roce 1972. Aktualizaci vzorce BMI provedl v roce 2013 britsk\u00fd matematik Nick Trefethen, kter\u00fd zjistil, \u017ee z\u00e1kladn\u00ed ukazatel je nespolehliv\u00fd u vysok\u00fdch lid\u00ed, kte\u0159\u00ed svou hmotnost d\u011bl\u00ed p\u0159\u00edli\u0161 n\u00edzk\u00fdm \u010d\u00edslem, \u010d\u00edm\u017e se jejich sk\u00f3re nadsazuje. V\u00fdzkumn\u00edk z Oxfordsk\u00e9 univerzity navrhl, aby se v\u00fd\u0161ka nam\u00edsto na mocninu dvou zvy\u0161ovala na mocninu 2,5. Hmotnost by se nav\u00edc m\u011bla n\u00e1sobit koeficientem 1,3. V p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b, \u017ee by se v\u00fd\u0161ka zvy\u0161ovala na mocninu 2,5, by se hmotnost n\u00e1sobila koeficientem 1,3.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span><strong>Nov\u00e9 BMI = 1,3 x hmotnost \/ v\u00fd\u0161ka2,5<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>Nov\u00e9 BMI se v\u0161ak zat\u00edm obecn\u011b nepou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1.  <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span>Jak vypo\u010d\u00edtat BMI &#8211; vzorec<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span><strong>V\u00fdpo\u010det BMI<\/strong><\/span><span> je zalo\u017een na velmi jednoduch\u00e9m matematick\u00e9m vzorci, kter\u00fd nevy\u017eaduje slo\u017eit\u00e9 v\u00fdpo\u010dty. Pot\u0159ebujete pouze kalkula\u010dku a p\u0159esn\u00e9 \u00fadaje: v\u00fd\u0161ku a hmotnost.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><span><strong>BMI = hmotnost \/ v\u00fd\u0161ka <\/strong><\/span><span><strong>2<\/strong><\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>Pokud nap\u0159\u00edklad m\u011b\u0159\u00edte 1,75 m a v\u00e1\u017e\u00edte 69 kg, v\u00e1\u0161 BMI je 22,5 (BMI = 69\/1,75&#215;1,75 nebo BMI = 69\/3,0625).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>M\u016f\u017eete tak\u00e9 pou\u017e\u00edt hotov\u00e9 online <\/span><span><strong>kalkula\u010dky BMI<\/strong><\/span><span>, do kter\u00fdch sta\u010d\u00ed zadat pohlav\u00ed, v\u00fd\u0161ku a aktu\u00e1ln\u00ed hmotnost a specializovan\u00fd n\u00e1stroj automaticky vypo\u010d\u00edt\u00e1 hodnotu indexu. Online kalkula\u010dka v\u00e1s nav\u00edc bude informovat nap\u0159\u00edklad o tom, jak se v\u00fdsledek vztahuje k norm\u00e1m BMI a v jak\u00e9m rozmez\u00ed hmotnosti byste se m\u011bli pohybovat, abyste si udr\u017eeli dobr\u00e9 zdrav\u00ed.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span>Jak vypo\u010d\u00edtat BMI d\u00edt\u011bte?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span>U d\u011bt\u00ed a dosp\u00edvaj\u00edc\u00edch do 18 let se nepou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 BMI, ale <\/span><span><strong>percentilov\u00e1 tabulka<\/strong><\/span><span>, kter\u00e1 usnad\u0148uje posouzen\u00ed norm\u00e1ln\u00edho v\u00fdvoje d\u00edt\u011bte. Pokud m\u00e1te BMI ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e 18,5 nebo vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e 30, vyplat\u00ed se poradit se s l\u00e9ka\u0159em, nechat si ud\u011blat testy, kter\u00e9 pomohou ur\u010dit v\u00e1\u0161 zdravotn\u00ed stav, a poradit se s odborn\u00edkem na v\u00fd\u017eivu, kter\u00fd v\u00e1m pom\u016f\u017ee uspo\u0159\u00e1dat j\u00eddeln\u00ed\u010dek a zm\u011bnit stravovac\u00ed n\u00e1vyky. Vzhledem k anatomii nebo mate\u0159stv\u00ed je p\u0159irozen\u00e9, \u017ee se v \u017eensk\u00e9m t\u011ble hromad\u00ed v\u00edce tuku. Ten je tak\u00e9 jinak rozm\u00edst\u011bn, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e \u017eeny maj\u00ed nejv\u00edce tuku v oblasti bok\u016f, zat\u00edmco u mu\u017e\u016f se hromad\u00ed hlavn\u011b na b\u0159i\u0161e. Tyto zm\u011bny index t\u011blesn\u00e9 hmotnosti nezohled\u0148uje, a proto jsou v\u00fdsledky star\u0161\u00edch osob (nad 65 let) velmi \u010dasto chybn\u011b interpretov\u00e1ny. D\u016fvodem je nap\u0159\u00edklad osteopor\u00f3za, kter\u00e1 ovliv\u0148uje hustotu kost\u00ed, ale tak\u00e9 sni\u017euje t\u011blesnou hmotnost. BMI je tak\u00e9 nespolehliv\u00fd u tr\u00e9novan\u00fdch osob nebo profesion\u00e1ln\u00edch sportovc\u016f, proto\u017ee nezohled\u0148uje slo\u017een\u00ed t\u011bla a mno\u017estv\u00ed t\u011blesn\u00e9ho tuku a svalov\u00e9 tk\u00e1n\u011b. V p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b kulturist\u016f nebo lid\u00ed s rozs\u00e1hl\u00fdm svalstvem m\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt BMI v rozmez\u00ed ukazuj\u00edc\u00edm na obezitu, zat\u00edmco takov\u00e1 osoba m\u00e1 velmi n\u00edzkou hladinu t\u011blesn\u00e9ho tuku. Zde v\u0161ak vysok\u00e1 svalov\u00e1 hmota sk\u00f3re nadhodnocuje (svaly v\u00e1\u017e\u00ed v\u00edce ne\u017e tuk). Je to d\u00e1no nap\u0159\u00edklad t\u00edm, \u017ee BMI nezohled\u0148uje slo\u017een\u00ed t\u011bla, tj. obsah tukov\u00e9 a svalov\u00e9 tk\u00e1n\u011b, stejn\u011b jako kostn\u00ed hmotu nebo mno\u017estv\u00ed extracelul\u00e1rn\u00ed vody, kter\u00e1 je mimo jin\u00e9 zodpov\u011bdn\u00e1 za: hromad\u011bn\u00ed vody v t\u011ble a tvorbu otok\u016f. Nerozli\u0161uje se ani v\u011bk \u010di pohlav\u00ed nebo \u00farove\u0148 tr\u00e9novanosti. Dv\u011b osoby stejn\u00e9 v\u00fd\u0161ky a hmotnosti budou m\u00edt stejn\u00fd BMI, ale jejich vzhled bude zcela odli\u0161n\u00fd v d\u016fsledku pom\u011bru mezi tukovou a svalovou hmotou, kter\u00fd je mimo jin\u00e9 d\u016fsledkem \u017eivotn\u00edho stylu nebo diety.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>Je t\u0159eba poznamenat, \u017ee BMI byl vyvinut jako pom\u011br vztahuj\u00edc\u00ed se k obecn\u00fdm charakteristik\u00e1m populace, a nikoli k jednotliv\u00fdm parametr\u016fm, tak\u017ee by m\u011bl b\u00fdt pova\u017eov\u00e1n za jeden z mnoha orienta\u010dn\u00edch ukazatel\u016f celkov\u00e9ho zdravotn\u00edho stavu. Vyplat\u00ed se sezn\u00e1mit se s dal\u0161\u00edmi v\u00fd\u017eivov\u00fdmi ukazateli, jako je <strong>WHR<\/strong> nebo <strong>BMR<\/strong> \u010di <strong>PPM<\/strong> (ang. basal metabolic rate) &#8211; pomoc\u00ed nich lze vypo\u010d\u00edtat nejni\u017e\u0161\u00ed kalorickou pot\u0159ebu nutnou k udr\u017een\u00ed du\u0161evn\u00edho a fyzick\u00e9ho zdrav\u00ed.
